Mephisto.

Do you guys think that the map layout of Mephy should be changed?

I mean it's kinda stupid you lure him to the "safe spot" and he stands there like a moron. So much for being one of the Prime Evils :)|||It doesn't really matter because even if you couldn't moat him then teleporting through durance level 2 is still multitudes more difficult than dealing with him the normal way. (meaning not difficult at all)|||Don't care. I always take him head on, and I don't really run Meph anyway. Besides, the stygian dolls in Durance are far more dangerous, so if you can get past them, Mephisto should be easy to deal with in a fair fight.|||i thought you were talking about stupid level 2 design

if they could make it "smaller" i d be more then just happy to droll on him.

On topic, i always take him head on.|||The level 2 design was intentional, to prevent over farming of Meph in NM/Hell but ironically there still is the moat trick.|||The moat trick is unnecessary, any good runners will have a build that can tank him for the short amount of time it takes to kill him. On top of which moat tricking him takes longer than it does for my light sorc to kill him.|||Quote:

Actually it's quite easy to find Mephi IMHO, because the stairs to durance lvl3 are 90% of the time clockwise, just tele clockwise and u will be there.

Only on some rare occasion are they in the middle of durance lvl2.

Usually i go head on if i have strong Merc.|||not for me, its never in same direction.
