Tristram tp bug?

hi all.today i started new char and as usually to make it permanent i did den of evil, raven, farmed crypt and mausoleum.then i wanted to rescue cain. so i found stones, go through underground passage, found tree of inifuss and took the scroll (bark).then i returned to cairn stones and activated stones.but before i checked inventory and found too little mana potions.so i activated stones and left the place before red tp appeared.visited akara and took some reuvenation potions from stash.when i came back to cairn stones all stones was activated but without red tp.quest said: find and rescue cain... when i rejoin game it was the same.after creating new game i found cairn stones activated with red tp.
