Rush bug

I am trying to get rushed, i have just a lvl 1 paladin, and a lvl 99 druid is trying to rush me, we went to kill Andy, and i got 0 experience. Then i went and got one level on my own, and tried again and continued to get only like 1 xp per kill. What the hell is going on?|||Quote:

When you are below level 25 there are XP penalties for monsters that are 5 levels or more above you. Also, if you and the Druid are in the same room, experience is shared and weighted by clvl. with a level 99 Druid around there isn't much experience left for a level 1 character.|||I'm not sure if this is the case anymore, but I believe that in certain areas on hell difficulty the exp penalty does not apply. I seem to recall a level four or five necro gaining some ten levels in a Hell Chaos game.

Hope it doesnt get me banned for mentioning it, but you will not be able to be fully rushed at a low level on Expansion setting, as you must be lvl 24 or 25 to beat the ancients (unless you use a comlicated "bumper" technique which I have never done.).

An option is to create a NON expansion character (classic) and be rushed to hell dificulty that way. There is no level req to get to hell difficulty in classic, and you can convert to expansion once you are done with act 4 hell. Then move on to Chaos runs and you should level very quickly.

Cheers!|||Or make a game called baal4q where u get a high level and lvl 20 that needs ancients and stay in town. Then have ancients guy and higher level kill Baal. Usually you offer a free hell rush to the lvl 20 and lvl 40 (mm ancients) then in he'll get rushed to a5. And level to 25 and then join a he'll chaos game. Levels pop like nuts.|||In hell, for a PG lvl 1 u can try to make exp in dia-runs.

Otherwiese

tristrun (in normal) till 12

tombrun (in normal) till 18

diarun (in normal) till 24

and then diarun in hell till u want|||The level Requirements for killing ancients are 20 in Normal, 40 in Nightmare, and 60 in Hell.

The best Experience between levels 14-23 is Normal Act 2 areas, preferably Arcane Sanctuary and Tal Rasha Tombs due to the massive groups of skeletons and stuff.

Best experience (in my experience, hurrhurr) is Nightmare Cow Level to get to level 40. moo

And Hell of course is the oh-famous bot-driven Chaos runs. After ancients its all Chaos and Baal
