A friend of mine who recently has gone back to playing Diablo 2 LoD again, is having this error/issue: Whenever he creates a game and i attempt to join it i get the following message of Unable to join game a ladder character cannot join a game created by a non-ladder player. His characters are ladder, aswell as mine of course.
So to try bypass this i made a account for him, made a character and went in to a game - works fine etc, but the moment he goes on to the character and tries to join a game i make, or i join a game he creates it just does not work. He played on one of my other accounts on a character that i made quite some time back he was able to join my games and all fine on that character. It led me to believe that it could be client side on his behalf but it just doesn't really make sense to me.
