Error 25: A critical error has occurred while initializing Direct3D

I could play about 3 months ago and now I reinstalled for the reset and am unable to play. Thanks in advance for any help.|||This is usually video card related. Try to run D2VidTest manually from the installation directory and choosing DirectDraw (2D) and seeing how that goes. Direct3D isn't much of an improvement over 2D for a game as old as D2, in my opinion anyway
