D2 wont start!

So i recently got a new computer and ive got some problems with installing d2. First i got some error said something about directdraw so i went on blizzard's site and i solved that problem. Now when i press the icon nothing happens, i tried the video test tool and i managed to get in the game but the colors was all wrong. I've downloaded all the drivers for my graphic card and so on so that cant be it. So if anyone know what to do i would appreciate it alot!|||Try the glide wrapper, it's always worth a try ...

I've experienced similar problems to what you described.

Magamemmnon.|||Or are you running windows 7? If so make sure you ALWAYS run diablo 2 as administrator, fixes a number of problems with windows 7.
