Some suggestions for 1.14, and some minor graphics bugs

[:1]- Some doors in Act 2 temples appear to be closed, but players and monsters can pass through them. Also, when you click on some doors in Act 1 dungeons to open them, the graphic of closed doors remains (doors are still passable, though).

- Barbarian's Leap animation in single player: the Barbarian first jumps straight up in the air, and then moves to it's landing destination. That doesn't happen in multiplayer.

- Currently, both Socketed and Ethereal items are in the same, gray color. For example, Ethereal names could be in cyan color, to better distinguish them in the gameplay area.

- Arrows/Bolts supply status indicator: it would be nice to have a small counter on screen, to see how much arrows/bolts you have left.

- No multiple instances of Unique and Set items for the same character: some of you might complain, but if it's called "Unique" item, there should be only one - at least for the single player characters.

- "Rare" monsters: as we know, Unique monsters (not Super Unique, such as Bishibosh) are created and named randomly. Well, I think those monsters should be renamed to Rare monsters, and be named in yellow color instead of gold - just like randomly-created Rare items. Super Unique monsters would remain unchanged, and that way they would justify their "uniqueness".

- Scroll of Inifuss graphic bug: when you open that scroll, the Mini Panel (row of golden buttons opening Char/Inv/Skill screens) closes. Also, the screen of that scroll is transparent at some places, because some of the pixels are colored 0,0,0 (black = transparent). Further, the "Close" button on that screen is not required, as you can close it by clicking anywhere on it.

- When you open the Belt (using the ~ key) that is 2 or 3 lines deep, and then open the Inventory + Stash screens to deposit Gold to Stash, you cannot click the Deposit Gold button (although it's clearly visible).

- Monster properties (such as Extra Fast, Mana Burn, Cursed) should be listed one below the other. It would look better than "Extra Fast Mana Burn Cursed". Also, it would be nice to add some text outline or shadow to them, so they could be read more easily when superimposed over bright backgrounds.

- Experience bar decimal values: when you point to the Experience bar, it shows (for example) "Experience: 1540287". It should better be "Experience: 1.540.287".

- Frozen birds in Act 3: the decorative green birds flying through the forests of Act 3 can often become static animations, that is, they just freeze in place.

- It would be logical for fire damage (and ground fire from traps) to thaw me when I'm frozen/slowed down. Heat melts ice, right?

- Players should not be able to miss static, inanimate objects, such as Fire Towers, Lightning Spires and breakable doors in Act 5.

- Subtitles could be added to the game cinematics, as in Warcraft 3.

- While using Direct3D, there's a massive FPS drop when you open the Automap in Act 5 Nihlathak's Halls.

- Gameplay area should become more dark when the night falls in Act 2, as it is dark in Act 1. Or it is like that because of the Tainted Sun quest?

- When you complete the Den of Evil quest, that cave should not be renamed to "Cave Level 1".

- Meteor, Blizzard, and other "outdoor" skills should be disabled in various caves, dungeons, temples, etc. Also, Barbarian's Leap skills should be disabled in Maggot Lair and similar "tight" levels. Speaking of them, those 2 Leap skills have other bugs too, such as jumping over the open doors (= through walls) in Act 2 tombs.

- Act bosses should not change their body color in Nightmare and Hell difficulties. Orange Diablo sucks!

- Character stats screen should have a greater refresh rate; when you drink a potion, the values don't increase smoothly (they did in classic D2, but not in Expansion).

- Last, but not least, it would be awesome if they could add some kind of "character summary" to the character selection screen (where you select a character to play from the ones you've created). It would list current strength, dexterity, vitality, energy, damage, defense, resistances, total gold, etc.|||thanks did you post this at the battlenet forums?

I doubt there will be a 1.14 and i most definitly doubt there will be blizzard coders reading here...|||I hardly doubt they'll mess up with such minor bugs (but it would be very nice to fix them, some of them can be very annoying). They mostly fix various skill, damage, and abilities bugs. From the bugs I listed above, I hate the doors bug, leap bug, belt bug, and "outdoor" skills bug. I hate seeing a Barbarian doing a Leap Attack throughout the Maggot Lair, it's against every logic... As for Battle.net, I wrote all of that in a .doc file and sent them directly to support; they said they'll examine it, but still nothing...|||Quote:

It would be easier to outright delete these skills then, don't you think?
