Need to switch to 2d, missing d2vidtest.exe

Hi everyone,

I downloaded Diablo 2 & LOD from the battle.net sight but every time i try to run it it gives me error 25. i've searched online for how to fix this and have tried patches, uninstall/instal, updating my vid card stuff and what not but i need to switch to 2d.

easy enough right? im not a computer wiz but i cant find the d2vidtest.exe on my computer so i have no idea how to switch to 2d. sorry for such a simple question! thanks|||its D2VidTst.exe

should be in yoru d2 install folder|||You don't have to run d2vidtest really.

Just write [-w] (without []) in your d2 shortcut's target field. (Behind this text "C:/Programfiles/Diablo2/Diablo2.exe" (-w goes here)'

This launched the game in windowed mode and then it uses 2d by default.
