Can't connect to B.net from Netbook!

Hi!

So, I can connect fine to Battle.Net when I'm on my desktop but not on my netbook. When I click to connect, it says it's searching for the fastest server but just hangs there. I'm obviously connecting to my wireless router since it's a netbook, it's also on Windows 7. Any idea what's wrong?|||something is blocking ports 4000 or 6112

try disabling windows firewall

and make sure your connected to your wireless network|||Like ffejrxx said, sounds very like a firewall issue to me.

Research unblocking ports for your firewall rather than disabling it while gaming.|||you can test 6112 using the telnet trick

vista and 7 dont have telnet installed by default

Open control panel.

Then go into programs.

Then in programs and features

Click ‘turn windows features on or off ‘

on the list that appears check the box beside: Telnet Client.

Then click ok.

http://us.blizzard.com/support/artic...rticleId=21139

start -> run (search vista/7) -> cmd [enter]

telnet uswest.battle.net 6112 [enter]

c [case sensitive must be lower]

it will give your internet ip if port 6112 is open

ex.

Code:
 This is a Battle.net server

Your IP address is [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] (this will be your internet ip)

Connection to host lost.

My I.P is showing. Any other ideas?

Also, it now goes up to "Checking Versions" then I get a message about not being able to verify the version. I also tried to turn off firewall but it still wouldn't let me connect.|||check if its v1.13
